Since Halloween is right around the corner I thought I’d come up with two fun looks verging on the cute and the scary. I loved the idea of a Rosie the Riveter outfit and being able to manipulate the look into something else if I felt like it. For the first half of this Halloween makeup look, it stayed fairly\u00a0easy with red lips and winged eyeliner. I grabbed a bandana and a denim\u00a0shirt, which kept my costs down since I already had them in stock.<\/p>\n

You can obviously go more or less extreme with this look as you like, and the best part is that this is so, incredibly easy to pull off. Now if you want to go the scary route, you can do a half pretty face, half skull as shown below.<\/p>\n

To achieve this Halloween makeup look I used products already in my stash. In case you don’t have makeup items\u00a0you can easily grab, below is my list of products that can all be found in your local CVS, Target or Ulta. I wanted to ensure that I didn’t have to go out and buy anything extra in order to successfully create this look, and then never use the makeup again.<\/p>\n

• Eyeliner brush<\/li>\n
• Flat tipped shader brush<\/li>\n
• Flat concealer brush<\/li>\n

• Black eyeshadow<\/li>\n
• NYX eyeshadow base in white<\/li>\n
• Maybelline Black Kohl Eyeliner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Steps to Recreating This Halloween Makeup Look<\/h2>\n

  While I’m sure you could find videos on how to do the skull side, I used inspiration I found from Pinterest and decided to free-hand draw this based off of photos. For a step-by-step guide to how I did this, follow along:<\/p>\n

  \n
  1. Prep your face with whatever super pale foundation (or concealer) you own, avoiding the eye area.<\/li>\n
  2. Set in place with a white eyeshadow or white powder (not a\u00a0translucent powder).<\/li>\n
  3. Sketch out your skull’s eye-socket area by going above the brow and feeling along the eye’s natural sockets. Use an eyeliner pen for sketching, and fill in with gel liner.<\/li>\n
  4. Line your water line with black pencil.<\/li>\n
  5. Set your eye socket area with black eyeshadow.<\/li>\n
  6. Grab your eyeliner brush and begin making long, squiggly lines with branching off sections, using less pressure towards the end. This will help give the skull a nice “cracked” look.<\/li>\n
  7. Outline the sides of your face as well, filling in with black. Use your flat shader brush and start to make gradations with the black eyeshadow, swiping side to side and gradually moving up to create the gradient. Do this for the cracked lines you made, as well as the lines around the eye-socket, your jaw and hair lines.<\/li>\n
  8. For the teeth, make sure you know how many teeth you want there to be so it will all be an even count on the top and bottom rows. Start with a line from the outer corner of your lip towards the middle of your lower jaw. Don’t get too close to the pocket. Begin drawing lines up and down from the horizontal line you drew, with less pressure on the brush towards the end of each tooth\u00a0line. Fill in these spaces with your concealer brush and the NYX white eyeshadow base. You can angle the eyeshadow base into points for both rows. Set the teeth with a white eyeshadow as well.<\/li>\n
  9. As for the nose, just copy what I did because I think you get the point of what you have to do. You’re smart. I believe in you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     Pro-tip:<\/strong> In case you can’t tell, I have a sh*t ton of makeup on my face. I use the Garnier Micellar Water specifically on the eye portions, and then a regular makeup wipe for the rest of the face. Please exfoliate after wiping all of the makeup off, since I’m sure your cheeks aren’t used to having gel liner slathered on them. While nothing I used was costume makeup (which tends to break me out), I wanted to be sure my skin purged any product left behind. If you have sensitive or oily skin, you will especially want to be sure that your skin is fully cleansed.<\/p>\n
